In the early 1990’s, Americans became aware of the fat content of the food they ate and began looking for an alternative source of red meat. They found what the Native Americans had known about for centuries . . . bison.


Why Eat Bison Meat?

Bison meat contains less fat and cholesterol than beef. It does not marble (fat within the muscle). Instead, it has a removable exterior fat. When you eat bison meat, you are eating pure wholesome meat that is high in protein and iron. In addition to being delicious, bison meat has been accepted as a healthy, nutritious form of red meat.
